You can’t find your passion – and I know why
Find your passion
There was a time in my life when everything looked fine on the outside—routine, stability, even time to rest—but I felt completely off. Not exactly sad, not anxious, just... disconnected. Like I was watching my life go by in black and white.
I had no idea what truly moved me anymore. And every time someone asked, “What are you passionate about?”, I’d freeze. I didn’t know. I couldn’t feel it. And deep down, I started to wonder if I ever would.
But here’s what I eventually discovered: the problem wasn’t me. It wasn’t a lack of purpose, or talent, or drive. It was that I had disconnected from pleasure. From joy. From the simple things that light you up inside when no one’s watching.
If you’re feeling stuck, numb, or like you “should” have figured this out by now—this post is for you. Let’s talk about what’s really going on, and how to gently start coming back to life.
It’s not a lack of purpose—it’s disconnection from pleasure
I didn’t need a new life plan. I didn’t need to be more motivated. I needed to reconnect with the parts of me that felt joy. That expanded. That didn’t serve a productive purpose but made me feel alive.
We’re raised in a culture that rewards performance. We’re taught how to function, to deliver, to stay busy. But almost no one teaches us how to listen to ourselves. To follow what feels good. That’s why not knowing your passion isn’t a personal failure—it’s a symptom of emotional disconnection.
That’s when I started exploring holistic therapies. Not because they were a magical fix, but because they helped me tune back into my own energy, body and emotions. Through that process, I began holding space for other women going through the same thing—women who were burned out, emotionally blocked, or simply uninspired by their day-to-day life.
Helping them return to themselves became a mirror for my own healing. And that’s when I realised: a fulfilling life isn’t measured by achievements. It’s measured by how much we enjoy being alive.
And I truly love what I do. I choose it every single day. Through this work, I’ve learned more about myself than I ever imagined possible. I’ve done things I never thought I was capable of. Mixing purpose and pleasure in the same sentence used to feel like a dream—now it’s real.
Reconnect with your passion
Passion isn’t something you find—it’s something you grow into
For years, I thought passion was something you had to chase. I thought I had to think harder, try more, do more. But eventually, I learned the truth: passion doesn’t come through pressure. It comes through permission.
It doesn’t arrive like a divine epiphany. It doesn’t come after a certain number of mindset exercises or personality tests. Passion shows up in motion. In connection. In those little moments when you forget time because you’re simply present and enjoying yourself.
What shifts your energy isn’t doing more. It’s feeling more.
That’s why I recommend starting with small steps—like the exercises below. Because when you’re at zero, thinking about "100" is overwhelming. But starting with 1, 5 or 10? That you can do. And bit by bit, you’ll start to sense what your version of 100 looks like. Be patient, but begin.
3 simple ways to reconnect with your passion
If you feel lost or disconnected, these exercises are an easy way to open the door again. No pressure. Just gentle, doable steps that start moving your energy in the right direction.
Keep a pleasure journal
Every evening, jot down three things that brought you even a moment of peace, joy, or lightness. It might be saying no to something you didn’t want to do. It might be the way the light hit your coffee cup. Nothing is too small. This teaches your mind to register joy again.Ask the clarity question
Before committing to something, pause and ask: "Am I doing this because I want to, because I have to, or because I’d feel guilty if I didn’t?" This single question can reveal whether you're acting from alignment or obligation.Let your intuition guide you
Close your eyes and ask: What do I feel like doing right now? Don’t overthink. Just listen. Maybe you’ll want to take a walk, play a song, stretch your body, sit in the sun, paint your nails. Follow that impulse. That’s your life force speaking.
Need help tuning back in?
When I was deeply disconnected, I sometimes didn’t even know what I needed. I couldn’t tell if I wanted to rest, cry, move, or do something creative. That’s why I created the Self-Care Oracle: to help you reconnect gently, one message at a time.
It’s not just a deck. It’s a daily nudge that invites you to pause and ask: What part of me needs care today? The guidance is intuitive, simple, and rooted in what your body and soul might be trying to tell you. Sometimes all it takes is one card to shift how you feel.

Quick check-in: how much are you enjoying life?
On a scale from 1 to 10, how much are you actually enjoying your life right now?
Not how productive you are. Not how accomplished you feel. How much you’re genuinely enjoying being alive.
If your answer is below a 6, that matters. It’s not a crisis—but it is a clue. Passion can only emerge when your nervous system feels safe. When you’re relaxed enough to receive, not just perform. When joy becomes part of your internal ecosystem again.
If you can’t shift this on your own…
You don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Sometimes we’re so deep in the loop of surviving and managing that we can’t see the root of what’s going on.
If you’re ready to break through the numbness and reconnect with your energy, I invite you to book a session with me.
I combine coaching, biodecoding, and Bach Flower therapy to help you uncover what’s draining you or blocking your clarity. Most clients begin seeing the roots of their disconnection in the very first session. From there, we start rebuilding energy, alignment, and emotional flow.
Final thought: your passion isn’t gone—you just stopped hearing it
Your passion hasn’t disappeared. It’s not hiding from you. It’s simply waiting for you to come back to yourself.
Passion is born from presence. From softness. From following what feels good instead of what looks good. And it begins with one simple question:
What do I need today to feel just a little more alive?
Start there. Everything else will unfold from that place.
A happy and fulfilled life
